Boris Berezovsky
pianoBoris Berezovsky was hailed by [Gramophone] magazine as a “true descendant of the great Russian pianists”: in 1990, he won the gold medal at the International Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow, and a year later he left his homeland. On the concert stage, Berezovsky aims to come as close as possible to the musical score with his vivid and technically perfect realisation of polyphonic playing – regardless of whether the expert in the Russian piano repertoire is playing Rachmaninov, Medtner, Chopin or Liszt.
