At the opening concert of his second season as chief conductor of the Philharmoniker, Kirill Petrenko conducted performances of Schoenberg’s Transfigured Night and Brahms’s Fourth Symphony. Later in the season, which continued in the Digital Concert Hall during the Corona pandemic, the “Golden Twenties” festival took place, and the Europakonzert was presented in the foyer of the Philharmonie.
