Sarah Aristidou
SopranoShe reads a lot and loves to slip into different “roles and play different characters. Exploring emotions, going to the limits.” Sarah Aristidou is an exceptional soprano for whom “no height is too high” ([Der Tagesspiegel]). She made her debut at Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich as Hanako in Toshio Hosokawa’s one-act opera Hanjo, with a “youthfully blossoming, somnambulistically secure soprano” ([BR-Klassik]). Born in Paris, she studied musicology at the Sorbonne and singing at Berlin University of the Arts and the Bayerische Theaterakademie August Everding.
