Gustavo Dudamel entreprend un voyage musical à travers l’Amérique : à partir du Mexique, il rejoint l’Argentine pour finir aux États-Unis. Téenek – Invenciones de Territorio de Gabriela Ortiz mêle folklore mexicain et sonorités d’avant-garde. Le programme se poursuit avec un concerto pour piano d’Alberto Ginastera (soliste : Sergio Tiempo). Enfin, la Symphonie n° 2 de Charles Ives réalise une synthèse des traditions musicales européennes et américaines.
