According to the [Guardian], Sunwook Kim is able to capture every nuance of the score with natural ease thanks to the “extensive range of his tone colours”. The South Korean, who was the first Asian pianist to win the prestigious Leeds Piano Competition at the age of just 18, made his debut with the Berliner Philharmoniker in June 2021 – and was immediately invited to return. Today, the adopted Londoner, who regularly performs in leading international concert halls, is regarded as one of the best pianists of his generation.
