2021/22

Kirill Petrenko opens his third season as chief conductor of the Berliner Philharmoniker with a performance of Schubert’s “Great” C major Symphony. In addition to Tchaikovsky’s operas The Queen of Spades and Iolanta, he will conduct concerts featuring such guests as Janine Jansen, Daniil Trifonov and Patricia Kopatchinskaja. The theme “Lost Generation” offers discoveries from the 20th century.
