2011/12

This season with the Berliner Philharmoniker and Simon Rattle saw the completion of their Mahler cycle, Bizet’s Carmen and Bruckner’s Ninth Symphony with a reconstructed version of the final movement. The great conductor Nikolaus Harnoncourt made his final appearance as a guest of the Philharmoniker.
